#145 Rust
With this painting i wanted to replicate Rust. Normally is just use flat colors with no depth in it, for the rust i did try and create some depth in it to make it look more realistic.

While rummaging around inside an old box of 35mm camera filters I found a multi image filter. I was able to take a few shots with it held up in front of the mobile (s6).
On seeing the result I wasn't that sure what to make of it, then a passing comment about catching different hidden personalities gave me the idea to make a moody portrait image.
I used the inbuilt s6 editor pen edge filter then switched to Snapseed to add the grunge effect. Maybe it came out a little dark but it sort of makes you search the image.
There is a lot of noise, which I think is a by product of the crop and the filters used.
145 rolls west on the NKP through downtown Cleveland, OH in the form of an NS standard cab GE and a CN cowl unit sub-lettered for BC Rail. It's a shame that he had no cars.

We have single lane bridge over the river in the village. At least once a day there's a standoff where someone has tried to rush over the bridge when someone else is coming the other way. Walking home this evening the Slow sign reflected the setting sun and shone bright for all to see. Shame no-one takes a blind bit of notice it the rest of the time.
