Beijos!!!

Prompt: Seeds of the future
I have spent a lot of time going through old photos recently, both last week at my mum's where I scanned a whole lot and then this evening when I went through my two boxes (birth to 1987) and was surprised to find that we all took such random photos through the years.
My mum hardly took any birthday or Christmas photos (I found a single photo of just one of my birthdays!!!) but took lots of life around the house and days out. My photos are full of photos of me (and yes, I took selfies from a very early age!) and friends and random shots. This photo out of the plane window from the second time I went on a French exchange (only my third time on a plane) just jumped out at me as the same type of photo as I take now. A taste of the future, back in the past - prompt fulfilled!

The weather today was quite different than yesterday! Although they were predicting snow, it was not yet snowing in the morning so there was no reason to wear boots. Luckily I decided to throw them in the car just in case. This was taken around lunchtime today. Just one shot and I called it a day on the 366 project. I look a little grumpy I think, but I forgot to turn the volume back on on my phone so I couldn't hear if it went off. So that's my puzzled look. I'm glad that I took it when I did because as the snow continued, the wind really picked up and had blown it off of the trees. I like that you can see the snow blowing, too.
The roads were pretty treacherous on the way home, there were two accidents and I slid halfway through an intersection after I got off the expressway. It was all good. The other cars were paying attention and I blew my horn in case they weren't. I made it home in one piece. And I can work from home tomorrow!

Happy 12th Birthday, Teddy!
Teddy is twelve on 12-12-12...how fun is that!?
I’m posting and running...I have lots dozens of things to do today ;-)
There was a wonderful meeting tonight with new friends and an outpouring of support for families in need. There was shared food, friendship, listening and a collective desire to help. There was also a lot of snow.
I hope you enjoy!

It`s now day 12 and i`m still not talking
They`re trying to break me with constant walking
Once round the block and twice round the park
I`m keeping my mind focused to this childish lark
Today two pigeons mating in the park what a sight
If you didn`t know better you would have thought it a fight
Then a Lakeland Terrier came over and we went nose to nose
He said Just tell them what they want or keep on your toes
Was he a spy , double agent or just an old con
Something tells me that his was a false yawn
In the afternoon after walking with plenty of pees
It`s back into bed followed shortly by tea
Now with all limbs screaming and a drum for a tummy
They start asking again about Good Girl , they think it`s funny
Last night on my vow of silence I near broke the seal
Their was tea and cake on the go my Achilles heel
But to myself I was honest and my silence held true
And to end on a happy note I got cake too

A day of traveling - left the St Pancras YHA in time to catch the 10.46 train to Crewe, from where I drove home to Stoke. Upon returning, the plumber had gone with everything ready for the tiler to come on Monday - but no working toilet...the house was freezing as I had turned the central heating off, with going away, so I've spent most of the afternoon thawing out and editing pictures.

While gentleness lies in her nature, Miss Wool's is so patient and obedient - for a maremma !
Not into dress-ups/posing with props, she was sweet enough to put up with me fiddling about for a minute …. while doing her best to get out of the modelling…
Unlike Pip, who will hold for a couple of seconds, Woolly Beast will immediately dip the flower off her head, then get busy sniffing something invisible in the grass, or preening her paw…
Communication clear enough, I'd say…
As usual, when she's getting the attention, her lil' sis will crowd in to join the party.
This time though, having already had her turn to pose, with nose up to the camera, frangipani on her head, Pip surprisingly continued to follow my request given to Woolly girl.
…. which Woolly was doing her best to ignore … pffft !
(This arvie's storm light made the Pip a bit on the dark side and the flower petals quite luminous…but left it as is..)
Sending best wishes for a very happy, healthy 2018, and looking foward to participating in 12 Months for Dogs group for another year x
Fate: "Not if I can prevent it!"
The symbol of fate appears and JSA members Flash, Starman, Sandman and Doctor Fate come through a portal.
Mordru: "Fate. Guess you were back on your feet sooner than expected. No matter. At least it's a challange now."
Jay: "Take them!"
Jay races after Rival to help Jesse and the rest of the JSA spreads out as Rick and Pieter tend to Hourman's wounds.
Pieter: "Mordru severed his leg entirely. I need to stop the bleeding. Give me your cape."
Rick gives Pieter his cape which he wraps around Hourman's stump. Hourman is passed out at the moment and went into a shock.
Rick: "Midnight, he's going into shock!"
Pieter: "Keep the cape tightly rapped around his leg, let his other leg go, I'll keep his head up."
Pieter grabs a needle and sticks it into Hourman's chest, as to which the seizure slows down. He then grabs a small oxygen tank and provides Hourman with oxygen. Hourman's seizure stops and he breathes steady again. Pieter grabs Hourman's wrist to see if his pulse is steady as well.
Pieter: "He's steady."
Rick: "Y- you saved him. Thank you."
Pieter: "I'm a doctor. It's what I do. It's what Charles would've done. It's what he taught me."
Rick: "He'd be proud."
Pieter faintly smiles.
Pieter: "I know."
Sportsmaster gets up again rubbing his head. He gets up with his knife and gets ready to stab Midnight but he hears Sportsmaster coming behind him and turns around in a swift way and stabs Sportsmaster in the leg with a syringe. He looks confused and then falls to the ground.
Rick: "The hell was that?"
Pieter: "Horse tranquilizer. Should keep him knocked out for a while now."
Rick: "Why do you have horse tranquilizer on you?"
Pieter: "For cases like this."
Rick: "You're one smart doctor, Midnight."
Pieter: "Yeah... I guess I am."
