Aan het eind van de middag van eerste Pinksterdag was het weer lekker opgeklaard en werd vanuit huis nog even naar Brabant gereden, waar ik gelukkig net op tijd was om de na een bezoek aan de VSM uit Dieren terugkerende 01-1075 vast te leggen als trein 38101 terug naar het SSN depot in Rotterdam-Noord in een lekker avondzonnetje ter hoogte van Biezenmortel op 4 juni 2017.

DR Class "01.5" "Rekolok" 4-6-2 No.01 0528 (ex-01 528; ex-01 119) with 2'2'T34 tender at Bebra, 02/73, having worked across from East Germany. Rebuilt as a "Rekolok" with a higher pitched "Reko-1" all-welded boiler with combustion chamber, IfS feed water heater, tapered Witte smoke deflectors, skyline boiler casing, Trofimoff piston valves, new welded cylinders and new welded cab. Scanned photograph taken with an Exacta camera.

Es ist immer wieder faszinierend so eine alte Dampflok "lebendig" zu erleben. Hier fanden gerade Rangierarbeiten mit der 01 0175 statt. Aufnahme im Eisenbahnmuseum Bochum im April 2016.
