The shapes are real, the duck is real, the colours are not. I did a lot of colour editing on this shot of the duckpond in St Stephen's Green, Dublin.

I guess I'm not supposed to put my website address here, so it's in My Profile if anyone cares.

It's been a while since I played with textures, so I decided to try my artistic side with this one ;-)

Köprü tarihi kesin olarak bilinmemektedir. Mimari tarzına göre Kız Köprüsü'nün Osmanlı eseri olduğu anlaşılmaktadır.

Not an HDR bracketed shot. Used an ND Grad on the lens, then with a Single exposure I was able to get all the info I needed from the single raw in ACR. ND Grad in ACR was helpful as well.
Has that HDR-ish look though so I can understand the confusion due to my post work.

This is one of my best images from a recent outing with the "Shutter to Think" photo group to the Marjorie Mcneely Conservatory at Como Park and Zoo in St Paul MN. The place was not lit up internally by artificial lights like I was hoping so we made the best of it. This might even be better this way.

Cast are an English rock band from Liverpool, formed in 1992 by John Power (vocals, guitar) and Peter Wilkinson (backing vocals, bass) after Power left The La's and Wilkinson's former band Shack had split. Following early line-ups with different guitarists and drummers, Liam "Skin" Tyson (guitar) and Keith O'Neill (drums) joined Cast in 1993.
Emerging from the Britpop movement of the mid-1990s, Cast signed to Polydor Records and their debut album All Change (1995) became the highest selling album for the label. Further commercial success continued with the albums Mother Nature Calls (1997) and Magic Hour (1999), however the band's fourth album Beetroot (2001) was far less successful which led to the band's split soon after. Cast reunited for a UK tour in November 2010.
Noel Gallagher of Oasis described watching the band live as being like a "religious experience" and they were labelled "The Who of the 90's". It has been suggested that the name "Cast" was taken from the final word on The La's eponymous album (the song "Looking Glass" ends with the repeated line "The change is cast"), though John Power stated when interviewed that this was a coincidence.
Despite never having a number one single or album, nor winning any major awards (although they were once nominated for "Best British Newcomer" at the 1996 BRIT Awards), Cast still proved to be very popular at their peak of success, with All Change being a multi-platinum seller of 600,000 units.
Elgol (Scottish Gaelic: Ealaghol) is a village on the shores of Loch Scavaig towards the end of the Strathaird peninsula in the Isle of Skye, in the Scottish Highlands. According to tradition, its name derives from a battle fought with five ships by Aella, a follower of Vortigern, against the Picts and Scots (“Aella-gol”).
The Strathaird peninsula was historically a heartland of the Mackinnons, a robustly Jacobite clan. On 4 July 1746, the Young Pretender found sanctuary at Elgol in the course of his wanderings under the protection of Mackinnon of Mackinnon and Captain John Mackinnon of Elgol. The cave where he is said to have waited for a boat to the mainland (“Prince Charlie’s cave”, or “Uamh Phrionnsa”) can still be visited today, a short walk to the south of the village.

This is shot about an hour before my previous upload. The light was a pleasure so i only had to worry about finding a decent compo before the light changed. I ended up with a compo showing the different patterns in the ice. Pretty cool?

when the roseate spoonbills are feeding, they rhythmically swings their spatulate bill from side to side. it is a wonderful sight to see. This flock was returning to roost in the tall live oak trees.
