Walnut Tree Viaduct in South Wales UK, was built by the Barry Railway in 1901 to tap the coal resources of the Rhymney Valley of South Wales to the then new Dock at Barry.

 

Lattice girder viaduct with brick pillars and 7 spans , length 516 yards at a height of 120ft.

 

Last train ran over the viaduct in 1967 to the Dolomite Quarry in the background.
