Brrrrrr! This stuff's COLD!

(From last winter, of course, but we only just found the digital file and remembered to upload it. This one's the cropped version, because I'm indecisive and can never decide which I like better. So I end up uploading both.)

Oh, what a sweetheart. I remember an experience like this when I was a kid... I'd moved from California to Virginia and had never been in the snow before, and ended up with minor frostbite. No fun!

formerly TaGurit: No danger of frostbite here ... he walked down the stairs and felt the snow, his face crumpled in that "my life is destroyed forever!" way they can suddenly go from happy to devastated, I took the picture (because I had been ready to photograph him playing with his brother), and then I swooped down to bring him inside and warm him up. I hope he likes snow a bit more this winter ... I have such great memories of playing, sledding, building snowmen, etc. But he's got time, I suppose... :)
