Julia Quaternion (High Resolution)
I've upgraded the raytracer a bit, and made the separation between coloring and lighting more clear.
The image above is illuminatied by two lights and ambient occlusion (based on raysteps), and is colored by four orbit traps (three planes and spherical distance).
The image above took 10 seconds to render with 4x4 anti-aliasing at 3297x2025 pixels.
Should be viewed at large resolutions - otherwise the subtle orbit coloring is not visible.
