After a long break, I am continuing my "Grudge" series. This one took one hour to plan/prepare (mostly to set up the "moon through a window" light - a bare flash shooting through a rectangular hole in a piece of carton 0.5m away did the trick: blurry at the edges, pretty sharp model shadows), 10 minutes to shoot (that's how much patience the model had :) ), and 3 hours to process. At the end the tricky part was to make it dark enough to make an appearance of moonlight at night, but not too dark to preserve the important details (like the eye!). I hope I did it right.
The rule is "extra 10 minutes of working with models saves 1 hour of post processing" :) But sometimes you just don't have a choice.
