Great to see my old school. This looks like when it opened about 1960, (no grass or trees, and what looks like builders rubble. Also the cars look rather ancient for 1967) but I might be wrond. Excellent photo and school---5 years at Park Grammar made me what I am today---broke, and unemployed!! Pete M

I went here! After the rather failed attempt to re-launch the school as Oakfield.. like the name would make a difference????

It was quite something when it first opened as The Park Grammar School and you had pass the eleven plus to be considered as a pupil , it was all state of the art at the time , both of my brothers went here and considered themselves to be quite something .
