Moleskine Personal Kanban Update #14 Nonprofit work

    Newer Older

Continuing on from the moleskine PK update #13 I am still using the bigger moleskine (7.5 x 9.8 inches). It just works so much nicer for my needs. I set this one up for my nonprofit. To give me added motivation I renamed several of the lanes as well. "Not quite ready for primetime." Is my holding pen. "Ready and willing to move" is my new backlog. The word backlog was just making me feel like I was being bogged down by my options. WIP I changed to "creating flow", I like the fact that each task I complete is creating a flow with my nonprofit. Completed lane I kept the same. Although this might change as well as time goes on. I also added a long term goal at the bottom of the completed lane, this is to help me 'keep my eye on the prize' so to speak. It helps me to keep my focus as I am working. I decided on no whiteboards in my new home office so the moleskine works out very nicely. I love that I can just pick it up and take it with me if I decide to work from the deck or from another venue.
