This was actually a much more complicated thing than it should have been. Q-Pot ships internationally, both from a US warehouse and from a Japanese warehouse. They have an English-language website and customer service. When the Q-Pot jewelry and Sailor Moon anime collaboration (version 2) was announced, I knew I wanted some of their jewelry.
Unfortunately, the postal service hates me. I actually placed two Q-Pot orders, both from the Japan warehouse, and one arrived just fine... and the other was immediately re-routed back to Japan with the claim of "insufficient address". I wasn't able to get anyone from the postal service to explain why. Q-Pot confirmed that they had the exact same address on both packages, sending over copies of the shipping documents.
I was really worried when this happened. Some companies have less-than-stellar customer service when there's a mix up, particularly if the postal service is at fault.
Q-Pot was COMPLETELY AWESOME. They kept in contact, were oh-so-courteous and helpful, and when they saw that my package was back in Japan they confirmed my address and shipped a replacement package. I had asked if it would be possible for them to resend the misdirected package—getting a replacement was so much more generous, and this one arrived promptly with no incident. I'm so happy that it worked out! I was really worried that they would just refund me. They didn't even ask me to pay for shipping again.
Q-Pot treated me so well. I definitely feel like a valued customer. ♥
