Lund Cathedral, Skåne, Sweden

Demolition of the South Tower of Lund cathedral. During the restoration by Helgo Zettervall in 1860-1880, the medieval towers were demolished and replaced by new towers in old style. The Romanesque cathedral, one of the oldest churches in Scandinavia, was inaugurated in 1145.
