100 years of Swansea City FC
On 7 September 1912, Swansea Town played their first professional game, against Cardiff.

2012 therefore marks the centenary of the club, which is now riding high in the Premier League.

The Swans 100 project, a joint venture between the Swansea City Supporters Trust and Swansea University, is creating an on-line archive of the experiences of Swansea City fans over the first century of the club’s existence.

These pictures are just a small fraction of the archive.

The project, funded by the Lottery, is based in Swansea University's History department.
