Laurel Grove Cemetery - SAVANNAH

    Newer Older

Laurel Grove doesn't get the tourist and interests that Bonaventure Cemetery does but it's still a very beautiful cemetery and many famous people are at rest there including Juliette Low - the founder of Girl Scouts of America and James Pirepont - writer of Jingle Bells. This is the grave of a young woman named Margaret Marshall who died at the age of 26.

Awesome processing! Really adds drama. We had about half a day in Savannah on our way to Orlando, and of course we chose Bonaventure as one of our stops. I'll be sure to visit this cemetery when we make a return visit.
