Princess cut

A tray of Princess cut diamonds at the gold city in Bahrain.

After three years of research the Princess cut was created by Israel Itzkowitz in 1979 at Ambar Diamonds in Los Angeles. The cut is the second most popular shape for diamonds and accentuates a diamond's fire rather than its luster. VVS1, with a near clear colour (E), weighing 0.5 carat each, these diamonds would break any person's bank!

With the selective focus, it is like finding a diamond in the rough :)

This pic makes me wanna... figure out if this is a photo of a dream... the focus certainly makes it look that way.

I wasn't talking about the cost, I was alluding to the brilliance ;)

Thats because you're a girl, and girls dont worry about the cost, its the guy who buys it for the girl who has to scratch his head :p

Oh dear, I wish someone had told me that it was the guy who buys it for the girl before I went out and bought my own :p

hehe @ Swamibu wanting a 'princess cut diamond'... I think men are more suited to 'baguette' cut ones if they are going to break the rules by wearing one ;)

    12. Swamibu 91 months ago | reply

I suppose if you glue three princess cuts together that makes a baguette :p But then I do not wear jewelery, not my sort of thing, so I'd only end up ebaying them :p

Bu, you're hilarious. Seriously though, you're torturing me! I really want to get back into selling diamonds. Maybe I'll check with Tiffany around valentine's here to offer my help. I'll probably be up to my ears in engagement photos thouh :p

If you do end up at Tiffany's, I'd drop by and help you with the spring cleaning of the diamond safe :p
