Street Portrait #1
The first of a new project of Street Portraits I am working on.
I was waiting for the train at Ebisu station when I noticed this girl watching me taking pictures. I then asked if I could take her picture and she agreed.
I wanted to get a more serious look from her, but she could not stop smiling. So I asked her to close her eyes and look down. When she had her smile under control she could look up and I would take her picture. (A technique I learned from two cute dogs)
But as it turned out, she could not control her smile, so I had to settle for this shot with her downcast eyes.
It's all good though, as I like the somewhat mischievous look on her face. :)
After I thanked her for her time she told me that the reason she was in such a good mood was because she had just had her hair colored at a salon.
