I haven't been sleeping well recently. Last night my sleeplessness took the form of my waking up at 5:30 and not being able to go back to sleep. I took the opportunity to take a solitary early morning walk at a local conservation area.
It looks so calm here, but the birds and the frogs were making quite a racket. A few minutes before I took this photo, an otter swam by. (Sadly I only had my 35mm lens and didn't get a good shot).
I can use some work on my landscapes. Once upon a time I mostly shot landscapes, but I've gotten rusty since I tend to do close-ups and shallow depth of field type shots now. Any favorite landscape shooting tips?
