When I'm standing here taking in the scene, it's not the visual impact of the fog that I think of but the deep throated fog horn echoing across the bay.
When I saw the heavy fog in South SF today, I was hoping that Sausalito would be socked in as I still have several compositions in mind that require a lot of fog. Sadly, as I was crossing the bridge, the fog stopped at Fort Baker and the sun was shining bright over Sausalito. I took whatever I was given and rushed down to Fort Baker to grab a couple of shots.
