All Set For Great Adventures
I took advantage of a rare summer evening without fog for shooting at Pacifica's Rockaway Beach. It was Tuesday, so the beach was almost empty. As I settled down at this particular place, some family decided to move in front of me. It took them a precious minute or two of fleeting sunset to realize that they are obstructing my view and move on. But I am glad I kept shooting, eventually producing this improvised model image. Initially It was a vertical 50x50 shot, but I made this crop, since the rest of the sky was quite dark. Posting it at DMU Group yielded further crop suggestion, crooked horizon and washed out highlight observations, along with other dramatically entertaining stuff (see notes and comments). After some deliberation I decided to leave everything as it is.
