EXETER COLLEGE CHAPEL - OXFORD
Exeter college is wonderfully located in the middle of Oxford.. The Chapel, the Fellows' Garden and terrace overlooking Radcliffe Square are famously beautiful and especially so in such a fine sun-filled day as this. Some of the college's best known former students include J.R.R. Tolkien, Alan Bennett, Martin Amis, and the former President Kufuor of Ghana. Other former students include the Nobel Laureate Sydney Brenner and the writer Philip Pullman. The crime novelist; Colin Dexter had his fictitious Inspector Morse - the eponymous hero of the TV series 1987-2000 collapsed and expired on the lawn in front of the chapel entrance, on the left of the picture. Exeter Colleg, founded in 1314, has an establishment mustering 340 undergraduates, 200 graduates and 26 visiting students from the US.
