• Note for my boyfriend who would just quickly grab one and probably yank the lid off while the magnet and spices are still on the board haha
  • Laminated zucchini pie recipe - I'm not kidding, I actually LAMINATED it hahaha
  • Spicy sweet potato fries
  • 3 dry erase markers and board eraser go in here... Good organization.

Spice Rack

**BEST VIEWED ALL SIZES = LARGEST SIZE

So I shop at the local organic co-op for a lot of my groceries when I'm not at Trader Joe's. All the spices are in bulk bins and I have to weigh them out and put them in little baggies... a pain in the #%&@... and theres no jars... so I HAD to do something. I found these tins at goodwill still in package for $7.00... there were 2 packages and each has 25 tins... Then I got some flat strong magnets at the craft store ($12.00) and used the clear tape on my label maker to label them. Last I went to Staples and got this magnet / dry erase / bulletin board for $25.00 (biggest expense of the project) and stuck them all up there.... I think it turned out great. ESPECIALLY since I have ZERO room on my counter top for a spice rack thingy and there was a big empty space on the wall to put this :)

I'm not able to view this at "All Sizes" -- that option isn't available.

    But it's really cool!

    That is really really cool!

Ikea does a similar thing - have a look in Biggie's photostream , she uses them too :)

I stick them to my fridge with a piece of paper backing it, they scratch the surfice otherwise , I keep all of mini sauces to go into bentos

That's fantastic! I did this too and kept mine on the fridge. Then we moved the fridge and I had to take them down because of the sun. It never occurred to me to use a magnet board. Thanks!

Great job! I love that you laminated the zucchini pie recipe!! I've seen magnetic spice racks like this in the store that aren't as big, aren't as nice as yours and cost a fortune.

oh my gosh i was at bed, bath and beyond today (the store) and they had one with 12 spice tins and a magnetic board and it was 50 bucks!!! for just 12 tins!!! geez... ya this was WAY cheaper PLUS i have about double the containers you see for future use if i add more spices!
