Queen Anne's Lace aka Wild Carrot, Daucus carota

There's a shitload of this in the pasture near the woods. At a distance, I worried it was hemlock, which I found and pulled (both poison hemlock and water hemlock, both of which are really poisonous) in other parts of the pasture--but only a few plants in each case.


Charlene taught me the mnemonic about Queen Anne having hairy legs. That at the little purple flower in the middle (and that it's way smaller in person than it looks across the field) make it much easier to ID.
