Sea Glass Lamp Cunstruction2

    Newer Older

A friend of mine has been collecting sea glass for quite a while and wanted to do something with it so she asked if I could construct a lampshade out of the seaglass and some beads. I think it is turning out pretty well.....when it's dark in the room and you turn on the lamp it casts some really neat shadows on the walls. I might just have to make another one for myself:o)

Yes, it actually does send the light thru the glass around the room The colors are just amazing when it's dark.

This is so beautiful. I have collected bags of glass in Kauai on Glass Beach and I have been wanting to make a lamp or some kind of art piece with it. I came across yours, what an inspiration. I can't wait to make one myself.
