I know I said I'd be doing square crops for a while (the next will be a square crop), but this was too good to miss up on - a high tide at Burnham at sunset.

I've been meaning for a shot with the sun through the lighthouse legs for a while now, and while this isn't what I was totally after, I didn't want to copy antonyspencer's recent effort.

Fantastic choice of moment Stu, love the rock in the foreground too, though I think I might have cloned out that bit in the bottom right? Must get down there eventually!

Oh I do like this Stu. Quality, uncluttered, comp and a great sky. Superb

I don't care what shape, size or format anything is ~ when it's as stuning a shot as this is.

I usually shoot in Auto WB for ND110 images (the rest of the time in the correct WB for the lighting) and then tweak in post. Obviously this has to be in RAW for it to work.

@people who said about cloning out the bottom right rock - I don't like taking things out of an image, it was there when I shot it so it stays. I do see the point tho!

Thanks all :) I'm very chuffed with this one!

The foreground rock helps make this my fav of your images of this scene.
