I just purchased a Canon 10-22mm lens and was keen to take it for a spin, so decided (yet again) to make the short trip down to the harbour. I have to say I love this lens. I had a Sigma 10-20mm until recently, but struggled to get consistently sharp shots across the left side of the image. So I sold it and put the cash towards the Canon. This is the first time I have taken it out and I am pleased to see the quality is better.
So what better way to test it out than to take some long expose shots of the Harbour Bridge. Again I had to take a number of shots due to amount of ferry traffic that would stroll into frame during long exposures. But persistence pays off and I got a few good shots. This was my favorite due to the purple look of the sky in the background and the way the light illuminates the framework on the near end of the arch. Enjoy!
