I saw her though the crowd, and I was almost hit by a Ford Expedition trying to cross the street to ask the gorgeous green girl for a photograph. As I dodged the killer SUV, she disappeared into the crowd. I cursed my luck and continued to cruise the crowd.
Several minutes later, she reappeared and i rushed over. "You have got to let me take a photograph of you," I implored. "I almost got flattened by a black SUV trying to chase you down!"
She laughed and agreed. I explained the 100 Strangers project after I had captured my shot, and i asked her for her name to use to identify her photo. "It won't go up on any trashy sites, 100 Strangers is clean and for a good cause," I explained.
"It doesn't matter," She replied. "Nobody will recognize me in this get-up."
I don't know about that Beth. Who wouldn't remember those eyes and that smile! Thank you for being Stranger number seventy-eight in my 100 Strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at the flickr group page.
