cover looks good ... content sounds yummy. pub date?
  • Vidiot 9y

    Looks very good.

And..."the next computing" what will be invisible? I don't follow that.

Plus: "Curious truth...and foreboding question? Promotional copy here, followed by still more of the same. Yet more promotional copy." is priceless.

Thanks for the kind words! "The next computing," as in "the computing paradigm after this one." The whole middle section of the book is called "Theses on the next computing," so I sure hope it's not too too confounding.

According to Amazon, it'll be out on February 15th!

    Really nice Adam. Will buy.
  • steph 9y

Clean, and the black section is indeed a nice touch.

Very nice. I love that Akzidenz Grotesk is being used everywhere (no pun intended) right now. I'll be picking this up.
  • Liz Danzico 9y

Simple. Strong. You guys did good.
  • Dan Hill 9y

    Sweet :)
  • Christina 9y

gorgeous and fantastic. I can't wait to get my hands on it.
  • adam greenfield 9y

Soon come, mon. Soon come. : . )
  • richard winchell 9y

May I make one suggestion for the spine: reverse the order of author and title. Make it so you're ubiquitous.
  • adam greenfield 9y

Ah hahaha. I'll take a look at how that looks.
  • Andrew Otwell 9y

I miss the gay gummi bears.
  • Chris Daniel 9y

I'm a big fan of the just "Greenfield" thing. That's the way these things should be done. Kudos.
  • Dav Yaginuma 9y

Yay! Happily anticipating its arrival on my doorstep :)
  • Ian Jacobs 9y

Ok, Ad, you were right. This is a better cover than the original mockup. Can't wait for the thunk of the book on my doorstep.
  • Timo Arnall 9y

    Looks great Adam. It's pre-ordered.

I'm impressed with this book and the design of the cover. "Everyware" is the main textbook for the Ubicomp class that I am taking.

Thanks for the inspiration this book has given me.

No, thank *you*, Lynn. That's so kind of you to say. I'm delighted you've found the book useful.
