    This is a place I passed every day when walking from my apartment to Mike's apartment while in Ukraine. BTW, they now seem to get pretty agitated when you call it "The Ukraine"... just stick with "Ukraine", and it will avoid you some dirty looks, which are not the good kind of looks to get from Ukrainians.

      And yes, the "H04b" which is actually "Ночь" does indeed mean "night" in Russian. Its "Hiч" in Ukranian, but Kharkov happens to be a prominently Russian city.
      One of the rare nice things you can find written on the streets... :)

      I really like your HDR treatments of these images in Kharkov. These ornate structures, and often the nature of their upkeep, really lend themselves to this work. I traveled north of there but with only a digicam that didn't offer the image quality to manipulate. These are fun.
