Paradise, New Zealand
Here's a photo from yesterday from a hike around the loop track in a place called "Paradise" (that's the actual name!) in New Zealand. They have these amazing remote huts there that you can rent for about $50 USD for the night. There is no electricity or anything, but there's running water and wood-fired stoves. A few of the cabins have iron bathtubs outside and you can heat them from underneath with a wood fire. They are perfect for stargazing... and you hate to get out because it's freezing cold on the way back to the cabin for a hot shower. Keeping fires going in multiple places is a special skill that I am learning just in case the Earth goes into full dystopia.
