The hallway to the bar after a bad night in Vegas

    Newer Older

There is an amazing hallway that connects the The Hotel at Mandalay Bay with the rest of the casino. It's long and at its end is a cool bar, which is a welcome respite no matter what kind of night you had in Vegas. Actually, I wouldn't really know since I don't drink... but, I do like to hang out in them, drink tomato juice, and process photos on my latptop. Yes, this is lame, I know.

I'll be going to Vegas again in two weekends. I've got a list of places I want to visit with the camera... any suggestions?

I just got back from Vegas and stayed at the Mandalay Bay! I did drag my camera everywhere but am still working through the photos.

I asked at the casinos at the Mandalay Bay & the Venetian if I could take photos of empty tables, the Venetian folks said yes, Mandalay said no. As you seem to be able to shoot where no one else can, I'd suggest trying to get some good card table shots.

You also have to get a blue-hour shot of the Famous "Fabulous Las Vegas" sign - it's just a 10 minute walk from the Mandalay Bay. I went out there for two sunrises, and have posted a couple of shots so far.

A night shot of the strip from one of the foot bridges would also be cool from you, although they are difficult to shoot from because of the various barriers in place.

Oh, and if you can do the fountains at the Bellagio any justice, that would be awesome!

Have fun in Sin City Trey!

Really nice tones on this shot Trey!! If I were going to Vegas, I would go to the old part of town. I like the old school vegas.

I love that hall. Just wonderful. Whenever I walk through there, I know I'm either on my way to a good time or on my way back from one.

An excellent interior capture of the guest concourse between THEhotel and Mandalay Bay. I hope you enjoyed the bunches of white lillies lining the walls.

Love how you moved the focal point off adds so much depth.
