The Petronas Towers and the Lake Garden

    Newer Older

I am here in Kuala Lumpur for another two week stint. These are the famous Petronas towers that I see every time from almost everywhere in the city.

On Saturday I am taking a side trip down to Java to visit the Buddhist temple of Borobudur, so I am really looking forward to that!

Nice shot. Must be a blast seeing so much of the world. It's getting boring here on Lake Buchanan. Maybe I'll try some panorama. :-)

Enjoy and keep taking those marvelous pics.

Love the perspective. I don't think I've ever seen any shots of the towers with the garden in the foreground like that. Very nice!

Dude. I totally nailed the "Who is the spy on the boat - LOST" question.
I quote myself from comments I made 8 days ago under one of your shots - ...

      Thelonious Gonzo Pro User says:

So . . . . who could Ben's "inside" guy on the boat be? It has to be someone that Locke knows and would be so unexpected that Locke would need to "sit down" to hear it and then blow his mind to the point that he gives Ben his walking papers and an invitation to the the community dinner table.

I say it's Michael, father of Walt.
He's been missing and he sailed off, only to be picked up by the freighter? Why would he be working for Ben? Ben promises him that he'll help him get Walt back. Michael has already proved he will do anything to get Walt back. Just my 2 pennies.

You are a great artist. When I was there all I did was taking a picture from the little fountains in the front of the towers. Of course the perspective was all messed up and I did know anything about HDR at that point. I remember the gardens on the other side with the man made ponds as you exit the towers from the one side there are a lot of cafe's. Did you take the shot from behind those gardens?
