See the Large on Black: 'Graverobber' On Black

Taken at midnight in the old graveyard in Erie, Pennsylvania. One of my favorite things to do is to visit graveyards at midnight and listen to ambient music on my ipod, standing there for long exposures. I think some people would find this creepy, but to me it's good times.

      That's both lovely and spooky.

Seen on your photo stream. (?)

Wow! i like this choice of location. It's very different from the usual daytime HDRs shots. Very atmospheric, reminds me of Stoker's Dracula

Is this one HDR or just a long exposure? If HDR what was the duration of each exposure?
I enjoy photographing cemeteries and would like to try this style.
      Any info would be appreciated.

      Thanks all!

HWMBN - I did this with 3 exposures... the longest at 30 secs. The HDR is great for night shots because the process takes out the extreme blowout brights. Try it and send me a link with your results.

It is the same technique I used for this picture:

Very beautiful. I don't think cemetaries are creepy at all. Lots of people's loved ones are there...this one seems very peaceful.

Excellent light!! Holy crap! I love the directional effect - strong shadow.

      Great image!

Yes, it's creepy to me. I am afraid of ghosts from my childhood even though I havn't proven their existence yet, haha...

moody and dark, not something one usually sees in an HDR image. Great going!
