This is the ancient Roman Forum, taken at about midnight. The soft glow there is the Capitoline Hill, where Brutus, Cassius and the tyrannicide group went after slaying Julius Ceasar.

This photo is actually taken from the Capitoline Hill. The hill in the shot is the Palatine Hill where the richest and most prestigious families of ancient Roma built their mansions. Nonetheless, this is a really beautiful and unique picture.
