The Airy Doom of the Duomo

    Newer Older

If you want to see how I made this (and how you can too!), visit my HDR Tutorial. I hope it gives you some new tricks!

The most difficult thing about this shot was hiding my tripod from the security guards. The second hardest thing was the HDR processing from this shot melting my CPU core.

I dare say IM the only one on here who thinks you went way to far with the HDR and ruined this shot.

A me non piace. Anche se immagino ci sia un incredibile lavoro dietro e una eccezionale abilità nel postprodurre.

I don't like it. Even if I guess there's a tough work behind, and an unbelievable skill in processing.

The editing makes it look like a screenshot from, like, Final Fantasy. Baaawh. xD

Trey, I'm going to be in Milan on Sunday night for 1 night... I'm going to try and go for a similar shot (as everything i've learned from HDR, i've learned through your fantastic web site)... but I do have a social engineering question: how on earth did you smuggle your tripod and keep it out of sight from security? Fantastic photo!!!!

How many exposures did you shoot on this one ?

I like your shot so much that I went to Duomo on purpose to take a similar one (and... yes, the most difficult thing about it was hiding the tripod from the security guards):
