Pratt and Whitney Double Wasp

This is an extreme close-up of the Pratt and Whitney Double Wasp engine from a Grumman Hellcat II, as delivered to the Royal Navy in June 1945. She's a beautiful aircraft, and very popular with everyone armed with a camera, so I was really pleased when I spotted this unusual shot of her.

Taken in Hall 2 of the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton.
