Edinburgh Rugby v Toulouse at Murrayfield
At Murrayfield on the Easter week-end the final rugby pool match of the Heineken Cup season gave Scots fans a tiny bit of hope after the disastrous International Six Nations series, losing every match. Against Toulouse however Edinburgh were not to disappoint the thousands of fans who cheered their team into the semi-finals as the French boys didn't have quite enough zest to beat the home team.
Rugby matches at Murrayfield are always exciting not only for the fans of the game, but also for us bus enthusiasts and we're entertained outside on the Corstorphine Road as special buses going both ways into and out of town are put on by Lothian, First and other small coach companies.
Seen here are three Volvo B7TL's - the two on the outside are for the special X12 shuttle and in the middle the 31 is a normal working. I am reminded of a photo I took here in 2009 where two Alexander Royale Olympians lined up like this (see below). A somewhat different view three years later but a rather splendid display of Lothian's Classic livery.
