cool tattoo but technically a heart is a muscle and cancer wont grow in muscle tissue. it can grow around it but inside of or in it. if that makes any sense...

lets me correct that cancer can surround the heart or grow next to the heart but it cant grow inside the tissue or inside the heart... that is the case for all muscle tissue. there is some enzyme in muscle tissue that knows how to control the growth of cancer and knows how to kill it off. Its pretty interesting when you think about it that the simplest of the bodies tissue muscle can defend it self from cancer but the more complex organs cant.

from that same article "Most heart tumors are benign"
as a cancer 2 time survivor there is a LARGE difference between benign and a malignancy
one is acute and no a threat the other can kill you

Cancer absolutely can grow in the heart. My sister-in-law just passed away from heart cancer 10 months ago. It started inside her right ventricle then spread into the heart muscle, then to her lungs and brain. So trust me, heart cancer is very real.
