"China’s Reform and Opening Up: Four Decades of Legacies and Lessons" Conference
On Friday, February 8, 2019, the Strauss Center held a conference at which senior scholars discussed and reflected on the domestic and international policy legacies of China’s economic, political, and military development from the 1970s until today. Speakers also examined what lessons policymakers in Beijing and other countries can take from China’s development experience. This conference was co-sponsored by the Center for East Asian Studies.
