Summer is Waning
A sailboat rides into the sunset after a long hot afternoon. As the days of June are counted down, so does summer in the Philippines. Fortunately, for most of the locals, its a time they can afford to visit the most popular beach resort in the country. As summer wanes, cost of accomodation and food at Boracay Island drops with it. And the business crocodiles adjust their rates accordingly to be able to get the much needed market share to make their low cost, high profit(don't-care-of-garbage-if-it-destroys-the-island) accomodations.
For now, summer wanes. The poorer people of the Philippines can now afford Boracay again, at this time of year, and if their lucky, a day in a rainy season of the Philippines can still be hot and sunny.
