The Silent Witnesses

If there's one group of historians, who can describe what had transpired in and around this building -- since it was built around 2,000 years ago -- it would be these horses. Descendants of those same horses, who helped the builders with their logistics, kings to supervise, for bringing food, used by executioners, and the gladiators, of emperors, of kings and the Roman legions, used by Popes, and the warriors of the middle ages -- in and around this building. The horses are still there now, just to to take tourists around this building -- one of the greatest ever constructed in the ancient world.

 

If only the horses can tell tales.
