The Subterranean Highway

There's only one big flashlight per boat, powered by a car battery. I was the last to board the boat, and sure enough, I was the designated flashlight holder. Everyone chose to keep their hands glued on their cameras. At first thought, I maybe the most inconvenient passenger as I have to hold the light. But then, as darkness crept around us, I got the only thing that can keep cameras in focus -- even their SLR's focus assist is useless in this vast underground river. With the flashlight and my Canon S5 IS point and shoot cheaper camera literally, I can meter on anything in the darkness -- like this shot. And everyone in the boat kept on saying on a regular basis : "Dito po", "here, here", "sa kanan", "sa kaliwa", "sa likod". And more often than not, I took my shots and focused on them as I please down in these dark caverns -- and helped the others focus on their shots too, after my shots, of course. hahaha.
Again, I'm just using my point and shoot Canon S5 IS. It was raining outside, and part of rain got into the walls by some crack maybe, and every time I took a shot, the flash seems to ricochet.
