A Quiet Dinner at Tagaytay
The veranda of Antonio's Restaurant. I'm not used to this. I grew up hating this. I never had fine dining before, well, not this expensive. I have lived alone for years, I cook my own food, I select the cheapest ingredients. And this place? Its nice. The food is great. But its damned expensive. Good thing the dinner was free.
Shot taken shortly before darkness fell on this cliffside part of Tagaytay City, overlooking Taal Lake with the volcano island. The little haze was due to the thin fog slowly blanketing the place -- as if to get ready for the evening. And around the place, from the trees and the shrubs, the crickets started singing the day's lullaby.
In the distance is Taal Lake, with the small volcano island -- Taal Volcano.
