Its Twilight Time

I'm not very particular with love songs, but some lyrics are poetic enough to describe a phenomenon. Take this song from the Platters. It was like decades before I was born, but the lyrics are fitting enough for the Song's title:

"...Heavenly shades of night are falling, its twilight time

Out of the mist your voice is calling, its twilight time

When purple-colored curtains mark the end of day

Ill hear you, my dear, at twilight time

Deepening shadows gather splendor as the day is done

Fingers of night will soon surrender the setting sun

I count the moments darling till youre here with me

Together at last at twilight time... "
