Blue Hour sunset in Fredhäll (Explore 27/03/2012)
A blue hour sunset seen from the cliffs of Fredhäll. This is just around the corner from where i live in Stockholm, the calm and cosy neighborhood called Fredhäll.
The cliffs are a great place in the summers and can get realy packed with people taking the sun, swimming in the water and having picknicks. This is central in the city but the water is clean and great to swin in. The temperature is also good, especially during the good summers when it defenetley gets warmer than in many places in the Mediterranean.
The house down to the right is a part of Fredhällsbadet (Fredhäll bath) that opend in the early 1900. It is open to the public during the summers, but if you are a member you can also use it during the winters with saunas and open ice swimming. Straight infront over the water you can see the buisiness park called Alvik Strand, the bridge to the left is Alviksbron that takes pedestrians and a tram line over to the Island of Stora Essingen. The water is the inner parts of Lake Mälaren.
