Morning at a Scottish farm.
Please give it a try on black, hit the letter L.
A little south of Edinburgh, just outside Balerno, is Mrs Margaret Wardlaw running a B/B on their farm, the Haughhead farm: guide.visitscotland.com/vs/guide/5,en,SCH1/objectId,ACC25... We stayed here for one night on our way south to Sedbergh in Lake District.
She and her husband gave us a warm Scottish welcome and a pleasent stay including a great Scottish breakfest. As I always like to speak with people and am interested in how farmers in different countries are living was a long talk in the evening a great end to the day in Edinurgh. At least to me, the poor hosts might have wanted to go to bed earlier:-)
The next morning was (as it always is in Scotland) beautiful. So Mette and I had a walk before breakfest to look around and to see how they ran the farm. We were lucky enough to be able to watch Stuart feed the cattle and to enjoy a stunning sunrise.
