Eastern Newt - Eft stage
Haven't uploaded a Macro shot in a long time. This is an Eastern Newt... also known as a Red-Spotted Newt. They are an interesting species. While aquatic in their adult phase, they are terrestrial in their juvenile or Eft stage. Adults are green with a yellow belly, but retain the bright red spots. This shot employs the reverse lens mount technique.
