      I was not immediately a fan of puffed quinoa. You're right, it does have a styrofoam texture that isn't good at all. But if you toast puffed quinoa in the oven it transforms into crunchy little bubbles that are perfect in granola or homemade chocolate bars or even as a substitute for Rice Bubbles in chocolate crackles (I make them with coconut, dark chocolate and coconut oil). I'd definitely recommend giving puffed quinoa another try. I even have it as a cereal (toasted) with almond milk and banana.
