On a wondering through town I saw some boots in the window for 2,500 + pesos, thats about 250 bucks. Then I noticed that many of the mariachis and street muscians wore those type of boots. I think they are alligator skin and so forth. Whats going on here is a muscian is getting his boots polished by a shoe shine man all the while he is singing. Perhaps its a work trade arrangement they have, perhaps the guitar player figures he'll get a better job if he plays while getting his shoes shined, or perhaps he is singing about how awesome his boots are.. There's at least a thousand words in there.
