I'm really excited to read your take on Aviary -- I'm assuming that's what you're up to here! :) I for one, am SO disappointed with Aviary and am missing picnik a little more each day!

Yep, that's what I'm up to. I wasn't a big Picnic user, since I mainly use Photoshop, so I went in today to Aviary to try it for the first time. I see that it's more limited, but it seems like the photo correction isn't too terrible. What are you mostly disappointed with?

First, I don't have photoshop. It was supposed to come free with my computer, but I didn't try to install it until after I had my computer for several months and it had expired? And the computer company wouldn't honor sending me a new one. So....

I relied on picnik for everything! I loved it, even though it was a slow process. It offered so much more -- you could rotate your photos slightly to straighten them, choose from lots of fonts for adding text, and the built-in photo enhancing tools worked great. I always shoot with natural light and when I just simply try to brighten or enhance my photos with Aviary, it often looks much worse then the original. I really could go on and on...but basically, I just don't like it! :)
