Once a common sight on the Canadian prairies only 15% of the nearly 2,500 grain elevators that once stood in almost every town along the railways in Western Canada still stand. Many are still in danger of demolition as large grain companies move towards more practical larger concrete grain terminals.
Warner and Inglis, Manitoba remain Canada's last "row" (four or more) of grain elevators.
